Old School Spinning

For the past few weeks I’ve enjoyed getting back to spinning yarn, albeit in the slowest fashion possible, on the drop spindle. I really enjoyed mixing this blend of merino and bamboo; I have plans on making small batches to sell every now and again, as I really do enjoy dyeing my own yarn – like painting a picture that you wear. However, with another kilo of fluff ahead of me, I think I’d better get this back to the wheel.

Updates soon!

    1. Practice!! you separate the fibre till it’s juuuuuust about to break then let the finger grip go and let it spin. But each fibre has its own ‘give’ length so you have to trial and error it for a little while
