With one thing or another, especially the amount of rain we’ve been getting these last few weeks, I’ve barely been in the garden and it’s looking messy out there. I think this afternoon I’ll get out and do some tidying up. Weeds need pulling, wayward bramble needs showing who’s boss and the herb beds need detangling somewhat.

The tomatoes are ripening, the apples will need pulling soon, and the last of the plums will need saving from the birds. I’m already planning next years garden. Butterfly nets and tomato stakes are top of the list!

How’s your garden growing?
