This easter was a bit of a blur for us as we adventured far and wide up and down our fair land dropping kids off at adventure camps (away from home for the first time!), meeting up with family, roadside assistance, rotten weather, an urgent need for a kitchen spruce up on return, and general taking-stock-of-things type drama. Good stuff.
Eldest did indeed take the latest blanket with him away, and snuggled under it at night all weekend, “It was SO cold, mum. I’m glad I had it!”, and after a few weeks break from this craft I can confirm I think another blanket might be making its way into the world at some point. It has no ‘due date’, as I haven’t even decided on colours yet.
But I’ve pegged the yarn colour that I do have the kids have been rearranging it into colour runs they approve of. There is something so very therapeutic about playing with colour.
