A Pair of Mitts

I like this lace pattern; I picked it up when I knit the FLS a while back and it has always appealed to me.

Using Shibui sock sock yarn (50g/ 191yards) in honey (what else?) I knit these up on two needles, flat, and sewed together using a simple mattress stitch leaving a gap for the thumb.

They’re a snug fit, just right for autumn, keeping the hands warm and nimble enough to go conker hunting!

And why did I feel the need to add some more FLS to my collection? Ah…. well, that is another story. I’ll tell you tomorrow…
