My Fabric Addiction

My fabric addiction at one point far surpassed my yarn addiction. I know. How is that even possible. Scary. It was a little bit out of control.

I have calmed down since then, mainly because of the death of the pound sterling a few years back meaning I couldn’t really afford to buy fabrics from the US anymore. And partly because I don’t do a lot of sewing anymore. Which is a little bit sad.

Every once in a while, however, especially since the midgets have commandeered my fabric shelves, I feel the need to top it up – something new to keep it fresh and full of colour, just in case the sewing fairy should strike me with her wand.

I’m currently loving these little bits of fabric, and currently planning a new quilt for our bed based on these colours. It might involve triangles. I haven’t decided yet. Ah, the creativeness that can be fired up with just a few new pieces to play with.

What are you making these days?
